The Education Reform Project aims to support the advancement of teachers ' skills, increase their competitiveness and teaching abilities, equip them with self-learning and human development skills, develop administration processes, increase the efficiency of school’s administration, improve teaching methods, and provide latest technologies and equipment in order to transform education into a fully integrated system that is internationally competitive. The Curriculum Development Project aims to develop the curriculum based on the needs and requirements of the learners, the labour market and the systems of knowledge, values and skills and modern technologies toward advancing Kuwait’s educational system. The Schools Equipment Development Project aims to improve the school environment, promoting the use of technology in education both inside classrooms and at laboratories, equipping school facilities with latest educational techniques, computerization of school libraries, establishing learning resource centers and the introduction of educational games. The Project for the development of educational and school administration and achieving professional development of school directors and personnel aim at improving the level of school performance, building a new organizational structure and job description, strengthen the capacity of school administration based on a new set of competencies. The Diversification of Education Paths Project aims to achieve alignment with international standards through offering multiple disciplinary at the secondary stage to have four majors to choose from: science, humanities, industrial and commercial studies, allowing for more choices that meet the diverse interests of the learners, following the competency-based curriculum.
